|My father got me interested in our family tree and it has become an enjoyable hobby. The search for old family graveyards and the creation of memorials on this web site by others has been an immeasurable help in this endeavor. I am a Georgia native.|
My paternal family names include Stephens, Bussell/Bustle, Collins, Bowers, Osborn, Merritt, Cheek, Starrett, Baker, Glover, Kent, Guthrie, Colquitt, Pulliam, Holton, Hurst, Hawkins, Hodge, Lane, Tillman, and others.

"Why do you continue to decline my request to update Alma Bustle's birthplace as Colquitt County.
"I have provided an adequate source and explanation and can not understand why you refuse to cooperate."
Unless you have sent me an email today, this public message is the first time you've bothered to mention that Alma was related to you, and you have NOT provided any source OR explanation re: her county of birth.
I have been very cooperative: I've spent hours researching the memorials for which you've sent Edits; I've made all of the suggested changes that I've been able to confirm; I've explained to you the reasons for my few denials; and, I've (not yet) reported your repeated, identical requests as "Abusive."
Sure. Would you like all of the Bussells, if not, just give a list or use the "Edit". I am not related to any of them and saw you were working on them and I know that it is easier to make additions and changes when you have control.
Best regards, Bud.
PS. I got all of the info from books and notes at one of the many Historical Libraries around here. BB

Hope all is well down yonder in Southern Ga.
All links accepted.
I saw where you were doing this family so if you like I will transfer any or all to you.
I am Walter John Bussell now living in Stone Mountain, Ga the past 28 years. I gather every 'Bussell' I see just in case.
Lived in Tenn for 26 years and ran into three separate clans there, but no connection.
My great grandfather, Walter N. Bussell, came over in 1871 as a sixteen year old with his older brother and settled in New York. Older brother, Arthur, went on to San Francisco. Another, Edward, came over and settled in Philadelphia. So, that is us.
Best regards, Bud

I've been helping a friend with her family history. I was happy to find her ancestors on this site. Since you maintain some of these, would you connect Bertha L. House (#62084873) and her husband Pat L. House (# 62085006)? Thank you.

If this was Mr. Haleys first wife, my mother use to tell me she died and was buried in Cuthbert, but her husband had her body moved to Albany to be beside him. I always thought this was a great love on his part.
Hi I see you're not including Louisa Victoria as a child of JM and Eliz. Bussell. She is not included as a sibling to her siblings. I have 2 census with her listed 1880 and 1890, Louida is listed as abt 1874 and Victoria as abt 1876. I think she either married or died after 1890. I haven't been able to find more records yet, but I'm still trying. I hate she's being left out of the family on all the trees. Please include her. JJgirl2

Happy to send them "home"...sorry the transfer took so long.

Would you like me to transfer them to your care since you suggested the edits?
|Ann Kennedy Patton||RE: Williams Cemetery|
Added the info as requested for Williams Cemetery. I am glad you posted Roberts and Candace' memorial. I did not overlook them when I posted the cemetery, but another graver had them posted in the wrong cemetery. I tried to get her to transfer them to this cemetery, but she got really huffy about it and told me I was crazy in so many words. Their memorial was one of the prominent ones and there was no question that they are buried here. I guess at some time she deleted hers, rather than transferring it to proper cemetery. I would have probably never caught it. I just wanted them to be remembered. At some point I'll get pics and post.
