|My father got me interested in our family tree and it has become an enjoyable hobby. The search for old family graveyards and the creation of memorials on this web site by others has been an immeasurable help in this endeavor. I am a Georgia native currently living in North Carolina.|
My paternal family names include Stephens, Bussell, Collins, Bowers, Osborn, Merritt, Cheek, Starrett, Baker, Glover, Kent, Guthrie, Colquitt, Pulliam, Holton, Hurst, Hawkins, Hodge, Lane, Tillman, and others.
My maternal family names include McConnell, Clauer, Stevenson, Crow, Brawner, Felton, Holladay(Holliday), Weitz, Wennemer, Gary, Richards, Spears, Worsham, Towns, Goolsby, Bowen, Baker, Harrold, Nesbitt, and others.

I've been helping a friend with her family history. I was happy to find her ancestors on this site. Since you maintain some of these, would you connect Bertha L. House (#62084873) and her husband Pat L. House (# 62085006)? Thank you.

If this was Mr. Haleys first wife, my mother use to tell me she died and was buried in Cuthbert, but her husband had her body moved to Albany to be beside him. I always thought this was a great love on his part.
Hi I see you're not including Louisa Victoria as a child of JM and Eliz. Bussell. She is not included as a sibling to her siblings. I have 2 census with her listed 1880 and 1890, Louida is listed as abt 1874 and Victoria as abt 1876. I think she either married or died after 1890. I haven't been able to find more records yet, but I'm still trying. I hate she's being left out of the family on all the trees. Please include her. JJgirl2

Happy to send them "home"...sorry the transfer took so long.

Would you like me to transfer them to your care since you suggested the edits?
|Ann Kennedy Patton||RE: Williams Cemetery|
Added the info as requested for Williams Cemetery. I am glad you posted Roberts and Candace' memorial. I did not overlook them when I posted the cemetery, but another graver had them posted in the wrong cemetery. I tried to get her to transfer them to this cemetery, but she got really huffy about it and told me I was crazy in so many words. Their memorial was one of the prominent ones and there was no question that they are buried here. I guess at some time she deleted hers, rather than transferring it to proper cemetery. I would have probably never caught it. I just wanted them to be remembered. At some point I'll get pics and post.

Have finally gotten links made for the memorials you sent. Was fascinating as part of my family is from Madison and Monroe Co., Georgia. My GGGGgrandfather was Caswell Purefoy. They were named for Richard Caswell, Rev. War Hero and 1st Governor of North Carolina.

If he is family or friend I will transfer the memorial to you if you like.
Happy Reserching, Bud
