I'm a sociologist at UW-Eau Claire, book lover, travel lover, family lover. . .|
Much of my work on Find-A-Grave is coordinated with my daughter, Sandi Knutson Kaduce. We are particularly interested in cemeteries in Barron, Chippewa, Dunn, and Clark counties in Wisconsin.
Genealogy is my passion. Recording information and taking pictures of graves in my area is an important service I can provide to others. I appreciate those who add information and pictures that I do not have geographical access to. The ability to "connect the dots" or fill in the branches, so to speak, of our family trees is deeply meaningful to me. I also love history and appreciate the history I explore as I learn more about the graveyards and communities around me.
I am willing to share pictures and information with anyone, but I expect to be given credit for pictures used by others.
My love for graveyards, and the stories they hold, began with reading Edgar Lee Masters' "Spoon River Anthology" as a teenager. It is a collection of free-form poems, one for each individual buried in Spoon River (a fictional town). It is now entirely available on the internet: http://spoonriveranthology.net/spoon/river/. Enjoy!

Thought you might add it in.

Yes, the marker has been knocked off its base, broke, and repaired. It is not likely to suffer more damage.

I hope all is well with you.
I have sent you many edits for the Losness family. I have found many of Oliver & Olava's twelve children and connected them but they themselves remain unconnected.
Last month I sent biographical sketches for Oliver & Olava's memorials, plus one for Oliver's father Engebret. From your own bio, you say you appreciate added information and the history they tell. I do too. They add so much to the lives lived. Can you add the bios I sent?
If there is any problem, please let me know.
Thanks for all your work.

|Shannon Dahlberg Allbaugh||Correction|
My name is Shannon Dahlberg Allbaugh. I just found this site searching for my families cemetery info, Poskin Lutheran Cemetery.
As I was going thru all the Dahlberg listing I realized David Dahlberg is listed as my Uncle, Richard Dahlberg's, son....he is not. as you can see, Richard was born in 1940 and David in 1944. The are cousins, but I don't know who his Father was...
Daniel is listed as a son of Richard who just passed in 2015 which is correct, but Richard Dahlberg JR should be listed, not David.
My Father, Axel Edwin Dahlberg passed away last August and we will be interning his cremains in June 2016. I can get you his obit as well as obits from Axel Andrew Dahlberg and Fern Celia Rice Dahlberg who were my Grandparents. All buried in Poskin Lutheran cemetery.
Hope this helps...thank you for all the work you do, I find this very interesting and hope to add some items to complete my family's information. Sincerely, Shannon
|Bill Hart||Potential FAG Project|
I am considering a major Find A Grave photo project for next summer and am looking for Find A Grave contributors living in Wisconsin. I noticed in your bio that you have an interest in Clark County Cemeteries. This project is strictly Clark County. Might you be interested in learning more at a later date?
Thanks, Bill Hart
