Carico family
Hi Shelly, I see you have a lot of the Carico family on Find a Grave. Do you know anything about a daughter of James and Amanda Carico named Flora. I have her born Nov 9th 1872 . At first I had her with the wrong person as parents were not James and Amanda and now I cannot find anything on her. Bette.

RE: Thanks for the transfer.
Shelly did you request that? I have no recollection of doing it. Lol. Not that it bothers me at all... Just... Odd!

RE: re: burial of Trijntje Jongsma
Shelly, I admire your enormous perseverance to find Trijntje's death and burial records! And I'm slowly beginning to remember more about our close cooperation; I'm always very busy at Find A Grave with many, many Dutch emigrant families, so my memory capacity is often not big enough to remember at once in detail what I produced in the past. Please let me know soon if you'll find something! By the way, did I tell you ever that Trijntje de Jong (aka Dam) was born in 1859 in my birthtown Heerenveen, where I lived from 1954 til 1973?! If you want to, it's probably quite easy for me to find her mother Minke Folkerts de Jong's (= The Young's) ancestors til at least 1800 and the ancestors of her legal -but possibly also her biological- father Pieter Dam til about 1700. I know the peatdiggers and skippers family Dam (= also Dam in English) very well because they lived in the same areas as my Hakze aka Haxe ancestors, a duck catchers and peatdiggers family. RE: Ronhaar

John H. Ronhaar looks like a duplicate for Jan Hendrik "JOHN" Ronhaar. The dates entered for John H look like they were messed up on the burial listings at

The headstone at the listed location is the one shown on the memorial pages for both Jan and John.

RE: re: burial of Trijntje Jongsma
Sorry, I overlooked your gravestone photo of Pier's memorial number: 35620807, posted in 2009. "That is the why I was thinking she was probably there just without a stone but as noted in the 1920 census Pier is living with his son (my great grandfather) Peter and his family ... his wife Trijntje was not living there." I now think it looks that they lived/were divorced in 1920 and that she is likely buried elsewhere. You agree? If so, I'll recommend to change her cemetery to "unknown". What does Census 1920 say about Pier's marital status? "I have not yet found where she was in 1920 or 1930. I will continue to search." Success with this real big challenge! By the way, I didn't remember anymore that Peter was your great grandfather. If you have still remarks or questions about your Dutch ancestors, please tell me via

RE: re: burial of Trijntje Jongsma
Thanks for searching and making remarks about it. But how about her husband Pier ("Peter") Jongsma's burial?? It's almost 100 % sure that he was buried in 1929 in the Munster Cemetery. It looks to me that their markers have probably disappeared. I think you should also make the same remarks to Pier's memorial.

RE: Don/Donald Abrahamse - one in the same??
I hope your work on Find A Grave is going good. I looked at the records and the Maple Leaf Cemetery record does show both Don and Donald with death years of 1991 and 1997. However it may be that the entry for Don (1991) was when Donald purchased both lots and his wife or other family member may be buried in one of the lots and that there is only on Donald, but that is a guess on my part. As you requested my to transfer these redcords to you I assumed you had family ties and as such I hope to can figure it out so that the memorials posted on Find A Grave are correct.
ywembark2015 (Kelley) has been doing a lot of work on that cemetery actually verifing lots and locations of all burials. If she has sent infromaton to you on either of these it would be valid.
Good Luck
