My experience with genealogy began in May of 2008. My husband had started working on his and I thought, "How fascinating." That was the beginning and now I am totally hooked.

I love discovering family members who have passed and then finding as much information possible about them. It is great to get photos as this really gives more identity to the people in the family tree.

One of the most rewarding parts of this is finding living descendants then actually meeting them and developing relationships with them. I've met so many nice people due to my journeys in genealogy.

I've been researching the surnames Petersen, Kjeldsen, Nielsen, Christensen, Strong, Thrush, Wetmore, Berlinghof, Beindorff, Anderson, and Timme plus many others. The list keeps growing!

I believe in sharing information and photos. If you see any photos that Brian or I have taken that you can use for your own genealogy and the like, please feel comfortable in using them for your purposes.

Please do not post pictures of death certificates or newspaper obituaries or stories on any of my memorials. However, I am very interested in these items so if you have these, and would like to share them with me, please send them via email attachment. Thank you.
