Bio

I was born and raised in Arkansas and married Johnny Bell November 21, 1962. We lived in Fayetteville until Johnny graduated the UofA with a BA in teaching and Art. He graduated in 1965 and we brought our newborn daughter and moved to Fort Smith where we had first met when I was only 10 years old and Johnny 15.
I began researching my family in 1973 and eventually was involved in creating the first and only Genealogy Society here in 1975. It is still going strong with monthly meetings at the Main Public Library of Fort Smith.
My father was Arthur Tincher born in Madison County, Arkansas in 1918 and mother was Lucille Skinner born in Cave Springs, Benton County, Arkansas, in 1921. Myself and most of my siblings were born in and around Fayetteville then the family moved to Sebastian County and we grew up near Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Some of my other family sur names are WATKINS, SLAUGHTER, EADS, ROSE, LANGLEY, HUNT and CROW.
