33 years ago I decided to start tracing my family tree. Funny how genealogy gets into your blood. I LOVE this work!|

Thanks for the info regarding William's parents. I have linked him to them and added some bio for him.

I was wondering if you had seen the email I sent you about the memorial for Nelson Kyle in the Bellefonte Cemetery?

On the left of any memorial that is a link to "Help with Find A Grave". Go there and use the search machine for "duplicates" and that will give you the answer. You can send 3 request in one email to Edit and no more than 20 emails a week. It takes a week or two to get the merge done as there is a backlog.
These are the guidelines for Find A Grave and it is most helpful that you are familiar with them.
|Linda Davis||RE: duplicates|
You can not make duplicates. Period. Read the guidelines for Find A Grave located on the left of any memorial under the link "Help with Find A Grave". With the edit option, you can add the dates and middle names and on and on. The information will automatically be posted after 21 days.
There are duplicates because two cemeteries were merged. Trinity Cemetery is also known as: New Vision Baptist Church Cemetery. You put your memorials in one cemetery and the other member in the other before your memorial's date....making yours a duplicate when the cemeteries were merged.
If you wish, I will get your duplicates merged. Do you want that?

|sr/ks||Hello and thanks|
Hi Vicki, I have been looking at your SACs for Moses Starkey and was wondering if you could tell me more about how you got his dates and places of birth and death.
Honestly, I don't doubt you here (especially since your info matches some of what I have found), I just want to nail this guy down properly as he has been a bit of a mystery to me.
The nutshell explanation is that my Storkeys and Starkeys kind of have a lock on those surnames in Delaware and Chester counties in PA. Besides Moses being on some censuses as being Ohio-born I have no indication of anyone else with the name having been in Ohio. It seems almost too coincidental for Moses to have then come to Chester County, PA where all mine lived and from where he was recruited. A bio of his son says of Moses that Moses and his wife Mary E. Gross were "of Unionville, Chester Co." They could have lived there and not been born there though.
Anything you can share would be deeply appreciated. I have yet to find anyone working on this family so new info is very welcomed.

Vicki, thank you so much for helping others thru your work with Find A Grave. I started my journey in genealogy back in the 80's and at that time I visited many cemeteries in NC and SC. Now because of health and age I no longer can. That is why Find A Grave is so important to people like me.
I hope you won't mind my copying your photos for my family files on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker. I am trying so hard to get as much of the family files as I can on Ancestry so that my descendants and others can see their heritage.
God Bless you in your helping so many others.

Everyone makes mistakes. Thanks for fixing it. I must have accidentally put the wrong death date for my grandfather and someone caught it. Not sure how I did that. The right date was in his bio that I wrote. donna
