RE: William Claybourne Cunningham
I did some looking on ancestry. I found that your Nix Jordan came from Samuel Jordan, who is also my ancestor. Isn't it a small world! Ann

RE: William Claybourne Cunningham
Hello. Will was married first to Hattie Lanora Taylor who was the sister of my husband's grandfather Henry Lee Taylor. So she was my husband's aunt. When I made the memorial, I did not know where he was buried other than Kern California. When Hattie died, he remarried to LaNorah Riley. This caused some confusion to some researchers with the two Nora names so near alike. I am glad to get the new information on his actual burial site and will update my memorial to include it. My family name is Jordan, so the Jordan name struck me as interesting. I don't think there is a connection to my Jordan's however. I would love to write and get more information on the family. You could write at my email - Thank you for writing. Ann

You're welcome. We were there, so it seemed like the right thing to do. :)

My sister and I tried to find all of the ones that had requests for photos, but we couldn't find them all.

Sorry about the chalk on the older stones. it washes off with the rain, but it makes them easier to read.

RE: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park
The office is east of the mortuary on the west side of the cemetery closest to the Highland Drive entrance.

The cemetery office is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and from 9:00 AM to Noon on Saturday. They have an index you can look through to find the section and plot, but it is a very large cemetery and they don't keep track of which gives are marked and which aren't so even if you have the plot and section, graves can be hard to find. I have called during their office hours to have them look someone up, because I work during their hours, but they put me on hold and never came back! If you submit a request either to the site or directly to me, my husband and I will get the information as quickly as we can, but it might take a couple of weeks.

Clarent Wasley
I inquired at the cemetery office about this person. They do not have a record of a Clarence Wasley. The only other Wasley who died in 1967 was a Baby Wasley. There aren't any other dates close to 1967 for the Wasley families. However, there are several Wasley names listed. If you would like to know them and their death dates, feel free to email me at I'll send you a list.

Mount Moriah cemetery request
Just a note to let you know that we have a lot of snow and it's hard getting in and out of the cemeteries right now. We'll get to your request(s) as soon as we can.
