Bio

I enjoy doing research in family history, and especially like to search the old Swedish parish records for ancestors of my family who arrived from Sweden in the 1850's. These immigrants ended up settling in Paxton (Ford Co.), Illinois, where most are buried in Glen Cemetery.

Currently I maintain the records for the Lyman Township Cemetery in Roberts (Ford Co.), Illinois. Find A Grave now contains records for almost all of the burials at this cemetery. Most of the information is based on written records that have been kept from the first burial in 1868 to the present. I'm trying to add more family relationship links and bio details and to contribute more photos. I am also working on adding GPS coordinates for the memorials that I manage and can provide those numbers for any grave at Lyman upon request. I'm happy to fulfill requests for volunteer photos at this cemetery.

You have my permission to use any photos that I have posted for genealogy purposes.
