Bio

I became interested in genealogy and discovered Find A Grave while searching for information on my ancestors. I am researching my paternal family of WEBB, SNODGRASS, REDSHAW, KESSLER, CARPENTER, HILL, and maternal family of FLEET, ALSTON, JAMES, KARNEY, WOLFE, HARGROVE, SANDERS and CADENHEAD. It's been a long journey and I still have pieces of the puzzle to fit together. I would like to thank all the volunteers that have helped me complete my family memorials. I was so excited to receive a response from my first photo request that I wanted to do the same for others. As a result, my husband and I have become photo volunteers. As weather permits, we find ourselves going to local cemeteries, taking headstone photos, and then entering the information on Find A Grave. I guess you could say our hobby is "grave walking". It is a rewarding service to do. If anyone detects errors in my entries, please notify me and I will make corrections. Do not hesitate to ask for a transfer of a memorial that is your family. I will be glad to do so, UNLESS, it should be my immediate family,as it is always a work in progress. No need to ask permission to use my photos. I believe photos and information for genealogy purposes should be shared. I think when we share information about our family, it enables us to discover more about our long lost loved ones and make connections we might not have, otherwise, found.
