I've been researching my roots for over 40 years. I remember when I was a boy asking my grandmother and great aunt about relatives who lived so long before me. I got the genealogy bug and the quest for more information continues. The journey has been amazing!|
As an army veteran, I enjoy knowing about and researching those who served in the U.S. military. Their names and experiences need to be remembered.
Family names I'm mainly searching are the following from OH, WV, PA, MD: Ansel, Anspach, Boso, Botzko/Buczko/Butzko, Calvert, Dupler, Ferguson, Logsdon/Logston, McMillan, and Mills.
If you are a related to or have an extreme interest in a memorial that I have, I'm happy to transfer the site (unless it's one of my relatives or someone I'm very interested in). I believe that a relative will care for a site more than anyone else, no matter how distant the relationship.
Happy genealogy trails!

|Jim Sindberg||Clarence William Madsen # 16832905|
I am 1st cousin once removed to Clarence William Madsen # 16832905, whose memorial you maintain.
Here is some bio info you might wish to enter:
Clarence was born to Christian Madsen and Ane Christensen Sindberg (my great aunt) in Antigo Wisconsin on 1 May 1897. He married Myrle Jean Moen and had 2 sons, Bill Melvin (1919-1944) and Trev Ansel (1921-). (I have spoken with Trev around year 2000). Trev was living in the Tacoma Washington area at the time.
Clarence lived in Mt. View WA in 1910, in Seattle in 1920, served in US Navy during WW1, moved from Granite Falls to Shelton in 1926 where he worked for Simpson Lumber Co. as a fork lift operator.
If you wish to transfer Clarence to me, that is okay. If not, OK.
Also, if you know anything about his sister, Mable Laurine (May) Madsen (1884-1961), I would like to know also. She married a Anderson and a Wickinski.

yes I agree very nice to meet another Logston . I'm just getting started with the family tree and I think it is so awesome you went all the way back to Andrew Logston he would be my 4th great grandpa .. I'm wondering if your Dad is named Charles I seen his name.. thanks again this really means a lot to me
P.S. still trying to figure out how to connect my grandfather(james)and Robert Logston
|Kathy Butts||Elizabeth Lowe|
You posted a memorial for Elizabeth Lowe in West Liberty Cemetery, WV. This stone indicates that she is the daughter of J & M Lowe... do you have any more information on her? Do you have a picture of the stone? Elizabeth could either be the daughter of John & Mary Lowe or John & Margaret Lowe... very perplexing. John & Margaret are my 4th great-grandparents. Any information would be very much appreciated.
