I've been researching my roots for nearly 40 years. I remember when I was a boy asking my grandmother and great aunt about relatives who lived so long before me. I got the genealogy bug and the quest for more information continues. The journey has been amazing!|
As an army veteran, I enjoy knowing about and researching those who served in the U.S. military. Their names and experiences need to be remembered.
Family names I'm mainly searching are the following from OH, WV, PA, MD: Ansel, Anspach, Boso, Botzko, Calvert, Dupler, Ferguson, Logsdon, Logston, McMillan, and Mills.
If you are a related to or have an extreme interest in a memorial that I have, I'm happy to transfer the site (unless it's one of my relatives or someone I'm very interested in). I believe that a relative will care for a site more than anyone else, no matter how distant the relationship.
Happy genealogy trails!

Please and thank you.

I have hit a dead-end while searching for my Paternal Great-Grandmother "Nannie Dougherty".
Although she indeed appears in some census info-- I cannot seem to prove she was born, nor died.
BUT--Do you know anything about YOUR entry for a
Nannie E. Dougherty-- buried in W. Virginia ( 1868 - 1930 )?
Thank you SO much !! Rebecca

Ira Moore is my Gr. Gr. Grandfather, would love to have a photo of his grave if you have one.

Yes, I figured out the relationship btwn the two. Esta F. Mohler married John D. Dupler, had children, then Esta died in 1926. Doris E. Bailes/Bales married Floyd J. Mohler, had kids and then after 1926 she married John Dupler and raised his kids after Esta died. I'm not sure what happened btwn Doris and Floyd, but Floyd remarried and had more children. I was getting all messed up because I didn't have the correct maiden names for either Esta or Doris (I thought they were the same person at first) and the census reports had a combination of both names. Estella is also in the family, but is not an immediate part of this family.
My immediate family starts with Doris and Floyd.
Thanks for answering!! :)
Do you have any information Doris E.(?) Mohler Dupler and Esta F. (Bails) Dupler? I cannot find any information on Doris and I believe that she is my great great grandmother, but Doris and Esta have the same birth year (according to the grave stones), but different death dates and they are buried next to each other at Olivet Brethern next to John David. I have found census reports that combine their information, so it makes it very confusing.
Thanks so much for the transfer!

I found a headstone at the same cemetery as this man you have a memorial for, that *I think* might be a match. The headstone although says Hervey Brown - Born 1848 Died 1877 ~ I have a photo in case you think its a match.
