Bio

I live in southwest Michigan.

My passion for genealogy began over thirty years ago, when I began researching my and my husband's families.

I have photographed the headstones in three cemeteries in St. Joseph Co., Michigan; Riverside Cemetery, Moore Park Cemetery and Calhoun Cemetery.

Just a note on the memorials I have added to Riverside Cemetery - Many of the memorials I have added came from "Cemeteries of St. Joseph Co., Michigan, Vol. 4.", in the section that included names that were found in the cemetery records, but were either overlooked, they had stones that were unreadable or they did not have a stone. After researching the names, if I found that they were buried in Riverside, I added their memorial to Riverside Cemetery. I then made a note that there was no headstone marking the grave.

Surprisingly, when people have looked for some of these names, they are told there is no record of them being buried in the cemetery, which I don't understand.

Just know that if my memorial states that there is no headstone, that it means they are buried there, but there is no headstone.
