Bill Durham
RE: Jesse Durham on War of 1812 memorial
Thanks so much for the explanation. My experience through the years is people confuse the two Jesse Durhams and the mistakes keep getting passed down the line. Thanks again for your help.

Jesse Durham on War of 1812 memorial
Richard,
I know that you may be the wrong person to ask, but since you do a lot of genealogy work, I'm going to ask. Why is Jesse Durham on the war of 1812 Monument in Washington Co.? I have been tracing the Durham's in Washington Co. and Clark Co., Indiana. I have never found the above Jesse Durham. The above Jesse Durham is Jesse Bugg Durham from Jackson Co., Indiana. He moved there from Laurel Co., Kentucky. My Jesse Durham moved from Knox Co., Kentucky, settled in Orleans, orange county, Indiana and was on the 1850 census there. He then moved to Washington Co., Indiana where the Washington Co. Durham's were started. I am just curious as to how the to Jesse's were mixed. Can you shed any light on this situation? Thanks so much for your time and work.

Headstone Misplaced?
Richard Ė hello. You were kind enough to help me back in October 2009 to assist in getting some documents regarding the Jacob Wright family As a result of those documents, Iíve been able to find another Wright family member who is descended from one of Jacobís sons. Itís also been established that the Philbert Wright, father of Jacob, IS a direct descendant [DNA] of Richard Wright, Sr. Just HOW and through WHICH of his 8 sons heís related to is still unknown.

SO....Iíve been working to Ďaligní information on the Wright cemetery- Washington County Indiana
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=87465&GRid=18069961& however, in doing so, I came across the following information.

The headstone picture you posted [date unknown] is for Elizabeth [Zink], wife of JOSEPH MARSHALL. She was b. June 10 1819; d Sep 10 1844.
Her site is http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=87465&GRid=16124590& and has the same headstone. [Still confusion of death date of 1843 or 1844. No way to get in touch with site developer.

Find A Grave Memorial# 18069961 for Elizabeth Bowers Wright is a valid site with the accurate information as shown:
Birth: Sep. 26, 1791, Death: Feb. 7, 1847, USA

I donít know if there is an actual headstone for Elizabeth Bowers Wright at the cemeteryÖÖ. but the one posted for her is in error.
