I had an uncle, Harry O'Cain (1894 - 1982) who we affectionately called "Uncle Okey". He told me his grandparents were James & Margaret Hamilton O'Cain. I have never been able to locate them.
Uncle Okey was born in IN and married Ethel Holl in Marion Co. in 1918. They moved to Durant, MS. Aunt Ethel died in 1954 and Uncle Okey remarried in 1955 to Madge Malone.
Uncle Okey had a sister named Ethel, born 3/21/1892, but I've never been able to locate her.
Uncle Okey's parents were Charles and Agnes Whitridge O'Cain. Agnes is buried in Crown Hill, but Charles is nowhere to be found.
To make a long story short...would there be any connection with your family?

Thank you for the added information. Linkage has been made to her parents and info added. Much appreciated.

I may have missed some flat stones due to leaves and cold weather. Will go back at a later date and check. Hope this will give you an idea for these people.

Jim, you're welcome! Glad to do it as long as I can retreat to a nice warm car after a few minutes. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thank you for asking, and yes, you may use them.

You are most welcome. I didn't have my wide angle lens with me which is why i did the shot from the street for you.

Is Emily Catherine a daughter of John R. and Elizabeth? I only have Mary Ann and Nicholas right now and haven't looked at sidelines.

Hi Jim, he's my 4th great grandfather. I descend through Mary Ann who married Michael Riley. How are you related? I do remember visiting this gravesite and am back here in SC over the next couple week and may visit it again to get a better shot.
|D. Shuler||RE: John Rickenbaker|
Sorry for the late response. The lighting on John's headstone isn't as good as I'd prefer. Do you know where the headstone is located and would want to post a better one? I may go retake it my next trip to SC since I hear the conditions of many of our family sites are rapidly deteriorating.
|Nashville Rambler||Thanks for the links.|
I always appreciate getting family member links, so thanks for yours for Nettie Ocain. They've been added.
