I wanted to thank you for posting the memorial for this person. I am distantly related and it was a very nice tribute.

I was searching for family and ran across you on Find A Grave 50686506. She was married to my 3rd great uncle Franklin L Yoakum. I am curious to see if we are related.

Thank you for making this memorial. However, I just found a duplicate memorial for him and Minnie in Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri that has a photo. See Find A Grave # 75968973 and Find A Grave # 75969000. If that data is correct, Is it possible for for you to change the name of the Cemetery for him on yours? If you do that you won't lose all the links to him. Then we can ask the owner of the other one to transfer the photo and delete the duplicate. Sorry if I have made things difficult for you again. Dorene

I found an error on her bio. She had two husbands, not wives. Also her maiden name was Manis.
|Jacki Bierma||Casserly in Calvary Cemetery, Whitewater, Wisconsin|
Wisconsin, Deaths and Burials, 1835-1968
birth: 16 March 1832 County Roseommon, Ireland
death: 17 July 1892 Whitewater, Walworth Co., Wis.
burial: Walworth Co., Wis.
father: Eugene Casserly
mother: Nellie H. Casserly
spouse: Hannah M. Casserly
I would guess this is the father of James Casserly that is buried in Dane County. My guess is that he is buried in Calvary Cemetery where his grandson is also buried. I have no idea if he has a tombstone. Just passing on this information in case you want to make an entry for him in Calvary. If he is NOT buried there, someone will probably let you know.

Just thought I would give you her SSN# 498-26-3478. Don't know if that might help.
|Kristy Rice||RE: Rowena Whitney|
Glad you asked! Ok, she is not buried in Enon. She is actually buried with her LAST husband Victor E Medley 1904-1982. Memorial # 44836667. They are in Herculaneum Cemetery in Jefferson County, MO. Her 1st husband George 1899-1977 is buried with his 2nd? wife Coreda Rosetta Langenwalter Whitney 1902-1968 in Saint John Cemetery in Madison County, IL. Her memorial # 92632928. George has no memorial. Hope that helps. I must say, her name just stuck with me when I was looking for requests in Enon. The name Whitney is just not a common name for this area. Of course you can't always bet on that, but it just stuck with me. I had to find Rowena! It took some searching on Ancestry, Rootsweb, and a whole bunch of online looking. But I found her! I wish I could say I found more, but hopefully this can get you to another Ah Hah point in your history. Thanks for the puzzle!
|Kristy Rice||Rowena Whitney|
I was hoping you could shed some light on Rowena Whitney # 38811845. I was looking for her at Enon Cemetery in Clay County, MO. But sadly I did not find her. I have no ties to her, but I'm puzzled by her. I was hoping you could provide anymore of the Whitney line. The reason I ask is because what research I have done shows that she was not even close to Clay County, MO. There are several Enon Cemeteries, and also a town named Enon. I have found some links to her. But they also show close to Moniteau County, MO. Even possible to St. Loius County, MO. I'm really puzzled by her, and would love to help. Do you know any other Whitney's within this link? And any light you can shed on her husband George. Thank you for your time.

Hello Vivian, long time no 'see'. I just wanted you to know that I came across this Yocom at Inglewood. It seemed in the past that you were interested in other variations of the spelling of Yoakum, so I thought this one might interest you. If not, maybe it will help someone else, someday.
