|B H Wilhelm||Contributions to Frank Wild|
I am just wondering about your contributions to my great grandfather Frank Wild. Are we related? And if so, How? Looking through your list of other contributions, I don't see a single name that I recognize.
Would love to know more.
I found some info for Martha Newhall Fitch.
She was first married to James P Emery of NY # 14948443 on 2/10/1848 in Adams IL. James died in 1858 Stacyville IA.
Martha & James had 4 sons:
Henry P 1849 IL
George H 1850 IL
Edward T IA # 60059640
James P IA # 131557602
Martha then married Charles Fitch of CT on 1/16/1862 in Stacyville IA. Charles was also a widower.
Martha & Charles had 1 son:
William 1865 IA

My husband & I are pretty sure we know where this Yoakum Cemetery is at. The longitude & latitude picture shows where it's at. Within Oak Hill Cemetery. Probably the baby section. We'll look soon & get back with you.

|Richard Soash||Ella Yoakam|
I added a memorial for Ella Yoakam (163368396), daughter of John and Martha Lucinda Green Yoakam. Do you know anything else about the family?
In reference to the picture of Jesse and Martha, I have been told that the earlier picture could not be the same Jesse Yoakum as the physical characteristics (light hair, dark hair etc) does not match. My grandmother was the daughter of Martha and Jesse. My mother has always told me that the earlier picture is Jesse and Martha.
I am looking into another possible line for both Jesse and Martha based on oral family history. I have found one document that supports this theory somewhat. I have not been able to find any marriage documentation for Jesse and Martha or Martha and her previous husband. I am still searching.
Do you know of any DNA results?
Thank you for the cemetery information.. I have enjoyed reading all the comments.
If I can be of help to anyone researching this family please let me know.

|Darryl P. Van Rijn||Transfers of Managements|
As you may have noticed. I moved a LOT out of my "Maintained" area. Except Sr Alice Muriel Larkin
I will keep her. I am VERY religious in my own way. I pray to MARY ..I have a stature of her in my living room. My Maintained area will only be LARRY'S family and Pieter and Harold and my Brother Gary Marsh. I feel very strongly along those lines. An how my Estate is set up. Thank You!!

I made them as the way my estate is set up. Eind a Grave would ens up with them. It is BETTER you Manage them. There YOUR family. Except my gift. Yoakum Parkway was "Blacktopped" repaved :)! In case you didn't know. Respectfully, Darryl Van Rijn (Watergate at Landmark)
|JC||Rachel Sisk Clark Yoakum|
Greetings Ms. Vivian Yoakum
Thank you so much for the work you have done on our genealogy. I'm related as follows:
John Clark & Ellender Sisk
Isaac & Rachel Sisk Clark
Jess Franklin Yoakum & Martha Morrow
Simon T Yoakum & Nancy Annis Jones
Delphia Mae Yoakum & Dave Roberts
Maedeen Roberts & Julius High
My Father & My Mother
I am responding to the question of American Indian blood. My grandmother has always told stories of our Cherokee roots. I have cross checked the family names against the Western & Eastern Cherokee Rolls. Although, I have not found any Sisk or Yoakum surnames, there are many Clark and Jones surnames. I even found a John Clark on the Emigration Roll of 1817. At this time, I can not say if it is the same John Clark. However, I know that we can not assume that American Indian people didn't have 'white' surnames. I also know that many American Indian people claimed their 'white' blood in order to own property and attempt to escape persecution. Do not be discouraged in the process of your journey.

|Doug Bodkin||Henry Gross/Groce|
My name is Doug Bodkin. My mother was Dora Fanchon Groce, and her grandparents were Henry Groce and his second wife, Nancy Caroline Cunningham, of Spartanburg County, SC. Henry's first wife was Susan Thomas, and he had children from both marriages.
Henry was b. 1827 in NC, and I believe he was related to the Henry L. Gross of Lincoln County. Henry b. 1827 was a neighbor (near Pauline, Spartanburg County, SC) to Joseph Groce, Findagrave #99850607, who was b. 1805 in NC as well.
I believe Joseph and my Henry were at least cousins, and possibly brothers, because one of Joseph's descendants and I are a DNA match.
I am hoping that you have information on my Henry and his neighbor and relative Joseph, and how they may be related to Henry L. Gross/Groce b. 1722 in Lincoln County. I am anxious to hear your reply.
Sincerely, Doug Bodkin
