I grew up in Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois. As a descendant of the Kitchell Family, founding pioneer family, I have tried to compile the connections of relatives within that family and the web of related persons in Palestine. So many of the families intermarried. I no longer live there so most of my information is on connections of families from 1815 to 1960s.
My other family interests are the Cline-Warner families who were the first white families in Oklahoma from my mother's ancestors and the Taylor-Wells-Holmes families in Ohio from my father's ancestors.
Any pictures that I post may be freely copied; they are there to be shared. It is nice to be cited as the contributor, but I don't get all hung up on needing credit. But I do feel that in genealogy work, it is best to keep track of your sources for information and pictures as it helps authenticate the material.
