I started out with simply researching my family's genealogy and this has turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. I live in New Haven County, CT but most of my research takes me to Danbury. My mother's family history in Danbury area goes back to well before the Civil War and down to antebellum RIchmond, VA.
I am a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era and have taken a great interest in learning more about my ancestors' involvement in the War Between the State.
I have relatives interred at St. Mary's and Center Cemetery, Bethel, CT and in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, CT
