Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always loved cemeteries. The stones are beautiful works of art.

I began working on my family tree a couple of years ago to put an end to the myths that I was raised with. We are 100% German, well... really we are about 50% German and 50% Irish. We were millionaires until Gussie died and she "Willed" all the money to 20 different charities. Well... she did give all the money to charities, but it was around $150,000. Which is a lot of money! So, I have been hooked on genealogy ever since.

The names I am working on are Kramer, Jeschke, Kleinschmidt, Kister/Keister, Pierce, Kelly, Rochford and Smith. All from Clinton County, Iowa.

Coats, Keys, Smith from Randolph Co., Indiana.

McCambridge, Blair, Houck, Gonterman from Macoupin Co., Illinois.

Simpson, Chrisman, Bates and Rogers from Wayne Co., Kentucky.

Linck and Keller from Wheeling, West Virginia.

If I claim your request the picture is now yours to post on any website, except Find A Grave. If you want a picture on someone else's memorial, put in a request. I spend my time and gas money looking for your request, please let me have the satisfaction of placing the picture on their memorial. Anyone can use my pictures for other websites, just not Find A Grave. Put in a request for Find A Grave and I will claim it. :o)

RE: Anna Gearhart and family
Yes you may use the photos & information in your records & research.
Please excuse if this is a duplicate response or if it is a very late response. I did reply earlier, but I'm unsure if you ever received it.
Wish you the best as you pursue the Gearhart family. Glenn Ezekial Gearhart married Garnet Iliff, who was my paternal grandmother's sister.

RE: Henry Bates 1834 - 1911
Thanks for your message. I asked around my family. No one seems to think that he is a part of our family. Bates was a very common name back then.

Martha Jones memorial
We checked with the Wayne County Historical Society and found references to Tuttle Cemetery which listed 35 interments. We found some of the headstones listed with the Historical Society. Somehow those records were posted on the Tuttles Chapel Cemetery. We are in the process of enlisting a Scouting organization to reclaim the Tuttle Cemetery from undergrowth and document the cemetery and move the associated records from Tuttles Chapel Cemetery to Tuttle Cemetery. There are outstanding requests for photos of the headstones that are located in the abandoned Tuttle Cemetery. Will get the appropriate GPS coordinates and document the Tuttle Cemetery then have the memorials moved to the reclaimed cemetery where they physically located.
