I am constantly searching for information on my ancestors. I'm fascinated by realizing who I am is based on who they were.

Currently sorting out Vasterling immigrants found in Texas (my direct ancestors), Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri and Louisiana. I feel they were connected in Germany but have yet to discover that connection.

Other interests are the McDonalds that came from NW South Carolina to Alabama to Texas. I've not been able to find the trail of many, including the Cherokee connection.
