I am no longer transcribing or adding pictures for findagrave. Some of you have driven me nuts with all the additions, changes and linking you want done. If you check my stats you will see that I have added a lot of memorials and pictures and this is it. Some of you are mean, nasty and cruel. Some of you do not have no respect for nobody.
If you find a memorial that I listed and it happens that I am the holder for that person's memorial. Please CONTACT me by the edit button, do not steal my hard, dedicated work from me, just leave me a message, respect me as I would with you.
To FAG Volunteers who don't use the SAC button to let me know about my duplicate copies. And then go behind my back and tell Find A Grave about it. I wish you let me know about it first, instead of telling FAG about it. I do not bite and shame on you.
Poem from the TRUE NARRATIVE OF THE SUFFERINGS OF MARY KINNAN
"Plead like angels, trumpet-tongued, "For your damnation: "And pity, like a naked, new-born babe, "Striding the blast, or heav'n's cherubim, hors'd "Upon the sightless couriers of the air, "Shall blow your horrid deeds in every eye, "The tears shall drown the wind.+

Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermillion Hi, I see that you have posted a picture for this cemetery and some of your notes indicate that you must live near it. I have been trying to locate some half-cousins who moved up to the Lorain area probably in the early part of the 20th century. I see from their death records that, certainly, three of them were buried in the Maple Grove cemetery in Vermillion: Ernest Longmaire Kirkpatrick, Sr. (had died in Polk County, Florida, but buried there) and two of his children, Lois and Ray (both died before reaching adulthood). They are not in the Find A Grave listings, however. Is there an office for the cemetery one can call which has a listing? I am reluctant to add a grave unless I know for certain it is there.
Ernest's wife Maude Lois Beeckel Kirkpatrick msy be buried there too although she died in Maryland (living presumably with her other daughter at the time.) Ernest's other son, Ernest, Jr. and his wife are buried at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga County.
RE: Bertie Damron and Everett Damron You're most welcome. I'm sorry about the shadows, the time of day we were there, shouldn't have been any shadows. Seems this section was turned differently than the other sections.
My wife & I were in the process of photographing the entire cemetery. We had been there approx. 2 hrs. when a man came "flying" out with house shoes wanting to know what we were doing. When I told him we were taking photos for Find A Grave, he said we couldn't "disturb them - they are entitled to their privacy", so we left. My wife also called them and talked to secretary Sebrina and she said the same thing.
If you have any other family members in this cemetery, you should call and complain. Another person we took a volunteer photo for is going to call Monday (phone #740-377-4865).
If you do contact them, please let me know the outcome of your conversation.
