Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi!

I'm working on first, middle or last names that are often mis-typed. No offense to anyone. It's not personal. We've all got them. :)

Currently working on:
Jospeh --> Joseph
Jospehine --> Josephine

Brain --> Brian

Slyvia -->Sylvia
Slyvester -->Sylvester

Herny -->Henry

Please do not use quotation marks in any name fields for memorials.

Here is a list of some from Texas. Once you click on the link below, click on any name or any cemetery. Note the results. This will take a long time for the list to pop up. Please be patient.

Rant:Plopped and burial unknowns ruin the integrity of the Find A Grave database. Too many people work very, very hard to get things right.
Do some more research or ask for help before plopping or creating a BU.

With the exception of my own personal family photos, photos I post can be used by others for their personal, private and/or non-commercial use.

If you want to post them to Ancestry, please use standard research conventions. Do NOT copy my photos to without citing and/or crediting your source. Simply copy and paste:

I'd appreciate a note letting me know you have copied them.

sorry to hear your not feeling well, hope you feel better soon. I did spell the last name wrong, missing the U. I knew there was a memorial, but thought, well it was removed.

Weather is getting nice here in Sioux Falls, but rain all weekend, maybe in between the drops I'll go gravin. Thanks again for fixing my opps, have anice memorial day weekend.

I searched for her, did not see the name at Ft sam the first time, must had been a misspell. Thanks for the merge of the one I made to the new ones. Nice HS photo too, hope you didn't run out there for the photo request to discover this. :)

RE: Olegario Soliz 37572932
Please add his rank (PFC or Corporal) as this is customary for those that were KIA even if he is buried in a national cemetery. I have seen some listings for KIA with the rank T/5 or Tec5 added (probably in the First Name field and perhaps on older listings before pre-fixes were added?).

Technician Fifth Grade (Tec 5, T/5) was actually between Private First Class (a rank that was around in WWI) and a Corporal/Specialist (E-4, a rank also around during WWI). The technical grades were T/5, T/4, T/3 and were sometimes "temporary" ranks. T/4 was between Corporal and Sergeant and T/3 was between Sergeant and Staff Sergeant. A T/5 received the same pay as a Corporal.
