Hello! I just wanted to send you a message to request that you review your edits. Find-A-Grave doesn't send emails letting you know that you have edits, but leaving you a message will! Thanks again ~~
|Lena B.||Stolen Memorials ?|
Hello Doris, after reading your post to me, I searched back through the memorials made for the three people you said that I took from you. I am sorry you feel that I took them; however, I can find no record of the memorials other than the ones I created for those loved ones. I am just happy to create memorials for people in the cemeteries that I walk, when I find no one else has done so. Most of the memorials in Charleston Cemetery were created by me in 2008. I know how hard it is to do Genealogy research and then have someone else to claim it, since I have worked on my own family's for over 40 plus years. Anyway, look again at your own memorials that you made and see that they are not listed on your contributor list. I checked your contributions and did not find them. I know that I have created some and due to not always clicking the right buttons, that Find A Grave did not get them and I had to redo them. Since they are not my family members, I will be happy to transfer them to you after an apology from you for my having stole them.

I have transferred management of Mae Holder memorial to you. I did correct the name however, as you requested.

|Cheryl Pardue||Move to Texas|
Hi Doris, according to the 1870 census record, James Holder and his family were still living in Mississippi. In the 1880 census they were living in Texas. I haven't found anything, so far, that tells when they actually moved to Texas, just at some point between 1870 and 1880. Cheryl

Links have been added. Do you have connections to this cemetery? I am connected through my children. I think the Sanders is related.

Would like to share info on Dempsey Hill. His first wife was Mary Jane Whittenburg from South Carolina. They had four sons: John Lewis b.1821, Dempsey Jr. b.1823 George R. b.1824 and Mathew b.1825. Four children in four years, no wonder she died so young!
Dempsey Hill Jr. married Sintha Saylors in S. C., but moved to Georgia.
Dempsey & Sintha' daughter Roseanna Hill married John Thomas Hill of Franklin Co. Georgia. Oh, yes, another branch - artisian well? You gotta love it!
Roseanna & John Thomas' son Luther Nathaniel Hill married Lutensie Freeman of Franklin Co. Georgia
Luther and Tensie' son Elvis Woodie Hill married Vinnie Elizabeth Hunsinger and lived in Madison Co. Georgia
I am Vinnie & Woodie's daughter, Marie, a Georgia cousin
