I am all about family history. I want to know the story behind each person. Not just dates and places. Why were they there? What did they do everyday? These are the things that keep me up at night.....

If I have a memorial, that is your family, I am willing to transfer or add to it, whichever you prefer. Mistakes happen, I'm only human, please help me by correcting me if you see one.

I have photographed all headstones (with the exception of the ones located in the George Russell Memorial Building) at the Odd Fellows-IOOF, the Masonic, the Old City, the Veteran's, Elks, Catholic, Knights of Pythias, Burns Memorial Garden, part of the New City in Elko, NV, and the Metropolis Cemetery. And added memorials for them. I have not added all the photos because of time but will add any that are requested. And I have now finished the Carlin Cemetery and will work on adding memorials.

**Exceptions: I have not posted memorials for babies or small children born after 1990. Not that I don't want these precious ones to be remembered but because that is still fresh and I don't want to hurt anyone still grieving. If I did make a memorial and you would like it taken down please just let me know. Everyone grieves differently. I find comfort in findagrave but that is not the same for everyone. I don't wish to cause harm. Only bring peace and families together.**

I have finished taking photos at the New City, and the Elko County Cemetery, also the Lamoille Cemetery. I will do the same with them, add the memorials and add photos as I get time or if requested.

Please use the photos I have taken. I have only one family member buried in Elko County. So I do this for those that are searching for their family.
PLEASE: When sending in corrections please, please add the memorial ##'s for those you are wishing to add. It is so time consuming to look up every number. Thank you.

I will help with obits and minor research here in Elko if asked. Please send me an email. It is easier if I have it there. List as much information as you have and what you are looking for. If I have to go to the courthouse there might be copy fees. However most of my work can be done free as I use digital files and go to the museum where I can scan. I loved raogk.org and was able to help lots of people. I have been helped so much with my work that I love to pay it forward. :D
