Find a Grave transfer guidelines are: Transfers go to family members who fall within four generation guidelines. That is your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. Please state your relationship when asking for a transfer using the EDIT TAB in the memorial. TRANSFERS ARE DONE THROUGH THE MEMORIAL ONLY AND YOU MUST GIVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED, AND YOUR FAG ID NUMBER! "THEY WERE FAMILY," IS NOT THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO YOU. Non-direct relatives such as aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are not required to be transferred. Also, I could also be related to the deceased and may not make the transfer. IF YOU DO NOT STATE THE RELATIONSHIP, YOU WILL NOT GET THE TRANSFER. This is not because I want to keep the memorials myself; this is to get the memorials to the close family. We make an effort to never to turn down a request to family. We'd like to see them all go to their families. But again, no relationship stated -no transfer. Be patient, sometimes it takes a while. Thank you, in advance, for any data sent to update the memorials, please remember to send the source for the information that you want added to the memorial.

RE: Dorothy Mayo I appreciate the response. If you look at the daughter's memorial she has added so much to it. I am sure she will not delete hers before you transfer yours. She would just have to add all of her stuff to your transferred one. I am sure what she wants is to add your information to the memorial she has. So if you really don't want to make the transfer, that is up to you. I guess you want your name on it as the original owner, is that it? I should not have added my two sense to start with, so guess the 2 memorials will stay for Dorothy Mayo. I do appreciate your responses though.
Daus Rogers #154325249 I noticed the message below the one I just now wrote. Rev. Dauswell Rogers is the correct documented name. He was the son of William Rogers, Sr. who does NOT have a documented middle name either. William Perry Rogers is a later generation.
William Rogers, Sr. had a grandson whose name was Dauswell Charles Rogers. He was my 2nd great grandfather who died in Marion Co. TN and is buried in an unmarked grave. His wife, Mary Davis Rogers Richards, is buried about 200 miles from me in Desdemona, TX.
Daus Rogers #154325249 I corrected the cemetery to Condra Cemetery located in Marion Co. TN. I do not know how the picture of Daus was placed on this site. I have it in my book DESCENDANTS OF DOSWELL ROGERS and in my personal picture file, but I am not a computer person and have no idea who put it in the computer at Find A Grave.
FAGM# 132665634 Please take a look at the above referenced # vs FAGM# 16743003. They appear to be the same person. I think the stone was probably hard to read because of it's age. If in fact they are they same person the correct full name was Rev. Charles Dauswell Rogers. He was the son of William Perry Rogers and Rosannah (Hurd) Rogers.
Robert Burton Dickerson's headstone Thank you for taking a photograph of Robert Burton Dickerson' grave. Since I descend from his son who came to Texas, I couldn't make it to Lafayette, Georgia, myself, but someday I hope to visit the town where my great grandfather, Mark Dickerson, was born.
