My initial interest started with searching for a volunteer photo of Sgt. Cooper, then filling in information about my own family but this grew....and grew and grew. My eye gravitates to Finnish names (part of my heritage) and to those who have served in the military (also part of my own life) but I can pin-ball off into anyone missing a birthdate or a link to family or preserving a name or location even when the actual grave stone may be missing or unreadable.

I share this hobby with my sister and she often says, 'It is called FIND A GRAVE, not FIND A GRAVESTONE" as we work through databases attempting to include people who are documented as buried in a graveyard but may not have a stone visible.
