I've been doing genealogical research on my family off and on for many, many years. While I'm determined to "get organized", I'm not that successful. A native of Austin, TX, I have strong ties to North Louisiana. I resided in Winnsboro, LA for over 30 years but have recently moved to West Monroe, LA (Fall 2017). My major lines I am researching include Stevens (obviously), Fowler, Clements, Kimbell, Mitchell, Robinson and Hill from my family and currently Magee and Moyers for my wife's family. My Stevens line is from the Brown County, Ohio area while my Fowler, Clements, Kimbell, Mitchell, Robinson and Hill families are primarly from North Louisiana by way of South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.
