My name is Rhonda Blackman (maiden name Price) originally from (Syracuse, N.Y.) and now living in Watertown, N.Y. because of my favorite soldier of 21 years (my husband!!) Please email me personally at email@example.com with questions or comments. Side Note: I give permission to EVERYONE to use my photos on whatever site you wish! Please contact me if you would like me to transfer a memorial. :)
Monroe Mhoon Dear Ms. Blackman: To answer your question about Monroe & Mattie Davis. I haven't been able to find anything that says they were ever married. Mattie Davis is my grand-mother on my mother side and Monroe is my grand-father on my mother side as well. I have found and do have records of Monroe being married twice, but no record of him ever being married to Mattie. My guess is that my family didn't want it being said that they had children but were never married and I'm guessing that's why they even had her death notice to even say that her name was Mattie Mhoon. But I have her death certificate and it reads "Mattie Hines Davis" as her name at the time of her death. There is no records in Ark, Miss, or Tenn that they were ever married. If you ever come across anything different, please share it with me. Because our family would love to have that piece of history as well. As far as Monroe Mhoon, what kind of information are you looking for? I have plenty of that as well that I would love to share with Terrell. Before I do I would like to know what relationship, if any, that he is to Monroe Mhoon. There is a Sr. and Jr. Monroe so if he is related to one, then he's got to be related to the other. And that would make him and I family as well. Ask him if his father's name is Clifton Blackman, because that's Monroe Mhoon Jr's son name. Get back with me as soon as you can. Thanks and may God bless you.
Photo of William Quesenberry Rhonda, Thank you so much for your time and effort in photographing the grave of William Quesenberry. I certainly appreciate this very much. Sincerely, Phyllis Quesenberry Alexander
RE: Mary Mouck 1781-1882 Sorry, about being late on getting back to you. I live in Boulder, CO and was effected by resent floods. I have deleted my memorial for Mary Mouck. Have put picture on other Mary memorial and sent corrections to "Amanda" who created this one. So if you want transfer you will need to ask her. As for Andrew will look into it. I photographed all of the ones I could read. But did not see a Lewis Mouck.
RE: Re: Charles Stanford Hi Rhonda -- When I found Charles's grave I looked in the area for Annie's grave. I didn't find it. In fact there is quite a bit of "empty" space around his grave. I wonder if she is buried in another family plot. Do you know what her maiden name is? She may be buried with her family and I missed it. I will be back to the cemetery soon and will look again. I'll also come up with a description of where Charles is located. ---Peg
