Ed Stetler
I found Ed Stetler's obituary at the Carnergie Public Library in Angola, Indiana.

Ed Stetler

A retired farmer, Ed Stetler, 93, died about noon Sunday in the Adams nursing home in Angola, where he had been a resident for approximately one year.
Mr. Stetler was a charter member of the local Loyal Order of Moose which was founded in August 1914.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Pendill of Angola and Mrs. Edina Baker of Grosse-Pointe Woods, Mich., a son, John Stetler, Churubusco; five grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, and a brother; Roy Stetler, Sherwood, Michigan. His wife, Linnie, preceded him in death on February 5, 1965.
Funeral services are being conducted at 2 p.m. today from the Weicht funeral home with Rev. Paul Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the South Scott Cemetery.

Arthur Stetler
The Obit. posted in the Angola Newspaper for Arthur Stetler:

"The funeral of Arthur Stetler, age 36 years, was held at the U. B. Church Sunday afternoon. Rev. John Humfreys officiating, assisted by Rev. J.F. Bright."

I also have a copy of his Death Certificate. (I don't know if I ever got a chance to share that with you).

His listed cause of death: "acute pulmonary tuberculosis"

His death was March 20, 1929, but he was not buried until March 24, 1929.

Thanks for always helping, Dan.

RE: Questions
Thanks for answering Dan, Appreciate it lots.
We both have the same questions a to the correct spelling of the first name. Seems every time I find something about her the first name is different. I have a couple of things from her younger sister, Ocie. Each time she has used Icie.
I find the same "revolve" issue with Ocie. I often wonder if the census takers did not take care enuf to ask for a spelling ?? But being with my Grandmother and knowing her up front and personal makes the correctness lots easier.
With Icy or Icie or Ica or ??? decided to just go with the flow and hang in there. I noticed Icy on the grave marker.
Am going to ask and hope it is okay. Is there any way I can get or find a copy of the permission to marry note Icie's father wrote.
Have often wondered about the initial E. My Grandmother went by Ocie Bell.
Thanks for your help and time.

Sorry about the error. Wrong key --
I am asking questions about Find A Grave Memorial #56837513 Icy Rupert.
Icy is my great aunt. Her sister Ocie being my grandmother.
In the research I have done and the information found among my grandmother's things I have found the following.
Their last name is Gonser -- spelled with a G rather than a J.
There is no Mary as a name for Icy. Just plain Icy, sometimes spelled Icie.
Icie and Ocie mother's name is MaryAnn and they had a sister, Mary B. Gonser.
Let me know your thoughts about possible changes.
Thanks lots ~~
