I am a 77 year old, retired from US Navy after 30 years of active duty, returning to the place of my youth in 2002, after, a 45 yrs., absence. I am primarily interested in the (3) cemeteries near my home. My parents are buried in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, my paternal Grandfather in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, and, and my maternal Grandparents are buried in Hopewell Cemetery. All (3) are within 1/2 mile of my home. I, finally, assisted in getting Pleasant Grove Cemetery listed on Find a Grave on August 22, 2015. It was open in the late 1870’s and is still available for use. Located on the South side of the Pleasant Grove Community Center (the remaining portion of the Pleasant Grove School bldg.). The bldg., master carpenter was my maternal Grandfather, completed in. in 1926. Pleasant Grove Memorial Park is located directly across CR 4988 on the North side of the Community Center Bldg., laying parallel to State Hwy.515. P G Memorial Park is/ has been frequently been confused with the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (due to their close proximity). P G Memorial Park was only opened in approx. 1960, I am presently working to get the (2) Pleasant Grove Cemeteries grave sites, identified & properly located. I need the help of the F a G members, who have contributed to either of these cemetery sites
