|sjmohr||Two Ruckman Photos|
Hi, Delores. I saw 2 photos, one of George W. Ruckman and one of Frances Ruckman (from LaGrande Oregon) that someone submitted at this website: Deadfred.org. They are really nice photos. I am not sure who submitted them, but there is also a place at that website you can contact the submitter. I know that this is your family line. Regards, sjmohr

I saw you left flowers on Aaron Stratton's memorial stating you were descended from him. He is my wife's 6 great grandfather, I was wondering how you are related and if you have any information on his daughter Lavinia Stratton, my wife's 5th great grandmother.

Is this the John J Garlington who served in the Confederate Army from Arkansas?

No, I haven't been to Agency cemetery. I have never found any more info than we shared via email, shortly before your husband passed. I am sorry for your loss, you spoke so fondly of him. I will let you know if any newer facts about the Ruckman & Miller family appear.

If I remember correctly, Charles was a son of Elijah. I know that Charles was alive and living in Schuyler Co, IL in 1863 (Civil War draft) but by the 1870 census, Hester was a widow living in McDonough Co. If you find anything, please let me know. I visited Hester's grave in Colorado Springs, CO a few years ago. She is buried with one of her sons. Hester was a younger sister to my GGG Grandfather. Have a good week!
