Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have worked on genealogy for a number of years. My family interests are Burnell, Utterback, Taylor, Burkholder, Burton, McColley, White, and Brown. Since retiring, I have become interested in Findagrave and have been working more on my "roots". Cemeteries have always fascinated me and now I have trouble driving by one without taking pictures. I am happy to transfer family, add or link or make corrections. Please do not enter duplicates. Please do not be a "collector" of graves. If you are NOT going to add information, do NOT request a transfer just to have the entry. Sometimes there is just nothing more to add. And sometimes I try to add something to a grave that I have transferred and no response from the person now managing the grave. I find it very important as much information is saved as possible especially photos of the headstones as so many are in poor condition. I like to add all the information I can to my entries. I feel the person will never be forgotten if this is done. I love for family to find my entries.

Thank You - Transfers of Additional Jehle Memorials

Hello Again Kay,

I was so happy to receive the transfers of the memorials you created for Etta and Arthur Jehle. I've already corrected my error and enhanced their memorials to the extent I could. Thank you for all your earlier work on the Jehle's buried in Mautz Cemetery.

Thank you so much for adding memorials and taking pictures of my paternal grandparents' grave site. Would you mind transferring their memorial to me so I can add more information? Grandma was an immigrant with her sisters and parents (Brisch). I would love to add more about it.

Also, I see your name on many of my ancestors relatives memorials on Mom's side too. I want to thank you for the work you do in adding them all.
Thanks so much,
Susan High

Thank You - Ona Jehle Transfer
Hi Kay,

Thanks so much for transferring Ona's memorial to me. So nice to be able to write more about her now that I've learned more about her life after visiting Pana and the Christian County court house last month.

George Shick
kpet,

My name is Sarah McEvoy and I am a Penny through my mother's father, John Wesley Penny, the III. They lived in Brown County, Ohio. I made a visit to the Brown County Historical Society a few months ago and found a historical volume on the early settlers of Brown County that had several Pennys in it. One of them was Dulcina Evaline Penny (November 11, 1824 - November 27, 1906) who married George Shick (December 4, 1818 - March 11, 1873. The book states that even though Dulcina as the consort was buried later in Lawrence County, Ill (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=81&GScid=108795&GRid=20738803&), the book says that George and four of their children are all buried in the Penny Family Cemetery in Brown County, Ohio. I have a copy of the pages from the book. I have been to the Penny Family Cemetery on the Limings farm and the cemetery only has a couple stones still standing, but I saw your post for George, who doesn't have a cemetery and wanted to let you know where he is buried. Let me know if you want any additional details.

Thanks!

Correction for #79479139
Monument #79479139 is listed as Thomas F. Latta. He is actually Thomas Jefferson Latta. He was born in Stark Co., Ohio Sept. 25, 1839 and died Jan. 12, 1925. He is the husband of Catherine Latta, monument #79479156.

Thanks,
