Bio

I am a retired engineer who spent career working in Houston, TX at oil & gas equipment design.

My early years/schooling were in Files Valley, TX, just east of Itasca in Hill County, TX. There is a cemetery there that my Dad kept records on in spiral notebook. After his death, I realized that the notebook with all his notes on who was buried where was lost. In 2007, I began recording the Files Valley Cemetery with friends living in the area. When we completed that, and uploaded to internet websites, we proceeded to add memorials to many cemeteries in NE Hill County.

Bonnie (Wife) and I have been researching our families - McEver, Robinson, Allen, Pruett, & Jordan.

My interest in genealogy comes from making contact with special distant cousins, Maurice Allen, Vicki Bullard and others. We've created a family tree at ancestry.com website.

A final thought on what FindAGrave means to me. It is an excellent tool for preserving the documentation (memorializing)of those who have gone before us. To this end, it doesn't matter to me who owns photos, copyrights, etc. Feel free to use what I provide to FindAGrave for the purpose stated above. It would be nice to receive recognition.
