FIND A GRAVE IS A REGISTRATION OF THE FINAL DISPOSITION.|
Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
(A burial unknown dose not fill this mission)
What is a cenotaph? How do I have a memorial designated as a cenotaph?
Find A Grave has general rule. If we all followed them there would not be so many burial unknown. Read the FAQ's. (Help with find a grave) to the left.
They have rules for photos, only add photos you took. So Things you take from other web sites do not belong.
Please do not add photos of birth, death records, newspaper obituary's or articles or other stuff like that to memorials I have added. They do not belong on here. Find a grave will remove them if asked. I think they are tacky and make the memorial look bad.
The FAQ are guidelines and the guidelines are the RULES. (Mark, Administrator)
In the FAQ's You will find sites rules/guidelines.
Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. ONLY YOUR
( 1 siblings, 2 parents, 3 grandparents, and 4 great-grandparents)
YOU SHOULD READ THE FAQ"S
Just because someone is in you family tree is not grounds for a management transfer.
