Hi there fellow seekers,

I grew up in a small town in the San Francisco Bay Area; Port Costa. After living in California from birth to September 2021 my husband, Brian, and I moved Texas.
Just bought a new home in Belton, Texas; which is keeping me busy with painting and decorating. Planting new plants in the yard, repairing fences and on and on it goes. I'm not spending much time doing research for FAG, but plan on starting up over the winter months. Like before I'm back to using my laptop to do what research I've been doing, but plan on getting my computer set up soon.
I'm currently working on the Carr family of GA, NC, SC, MO.
I thought that I was mostly for German descent until I had my DNA done. It turns out that I'm mostly of Irish descent! I've done my mother's side of the family and they are from Wales, Germany, France, no Irish there. So now I'm looking into the Carr families, who are married into the Maney family and Dabney family. Martin Maney is from Ireland, married into the Cherokee blood line, I only have a small amount of native American.
