A few years back some kind person told me about the Find a Grave site. |
for the fun of it, the first name I entered was my g-grandfather who lived in
Urich, Missouri, US. I was surprised when it came up along with a picture of his headstone, ( I was hooked).
So far I have entered the Tappen Cemetery,in B.C.

|Con Mobley||Re: errors in Mobley info|
I do not know who you are or where you got your information from in regards to George Gale Mobley and Mary Francis Reed and Annie Laidlaw Fernie but I have to advise you some of your information is incorrect.
They are my grand parents and I have been working on my family tree for 40 years so I have a great deal of documents and photographs.
If you would like to correct the errors or exchange information please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have a network of relatives all over the world of family researchers
Also could you enlighten me as to what your connection is to the Tappen Mobley's
|Kathryn Warren||Sarah A. Armstrong|
Hello Maude - I found your entry on Find-a-
Grave for Sarah A. Armstrong. You state that she was cremated. I am curious about that - Sydney Henkle also died in Primrose, Iowa and we cannot find her grave either. Cremation in 1850 I would think was very rare. I would appreciate more information about your statement. Thanks,

|III||Eagle Valley and District Cemetery|
Thanks for catching that both cemeteries are the same. I've removed all duplicates from Eagle Valley and District Cemetery that were also in Solsqua Cemetery.
I will post a message in the Cemetery Fix thread to merge Solsqua Cemetery into Eagle Valley and District Cemetery
I will have Mark list it as Eagle Valley and District Cemetery being that is what the cemetery photo shows and is the present day name of the the cemetery and then add an aka of Solsqua Cemetery.

Thank you so much for your picture of the Gravesite and memorial notes on Christopher Harfield WEST. He is my husband's GGrandfather. I had sent you just a quick correction on one of his memorial notes.
Certainly not your transcription mistake. The newspaper article had a typo on where he was living on Mayne Island. They had typed in Hayne Island.
Lovely job of documenting so much on this page. Thank you. We went to North Battlefield a few years back with the West Reunion and they have quite a collection of his belongings when he lived there with his wife and family. You will see some of his medical equipment also, which was very interesting to us al.
Thank you so much again,

|Jo Cameron||Olympia Daunais|
Hi Doreen, I have a query in regards to the above person Find A Grave No. 73435080 that you have in the North Battlefield Cemetery.
I have a relation named Joseph Olympe Daunais (known as Olympe) that died on the same day/place etc as your memorial, who was born around 1871 in Quebec, could this be the same person? His wife was Flora McDonell Daunais nee Eddy and died on the 5th Dec 1938 also at North Battlefield.
I wonder if you have a record of Flora?
I also wonder if there is a headstone for them?
I know that Olypme was a postmaster at Willowfield, as was his son Charles Wilfred Daunais.
