Elder Joel Humes
Thank you for posting the photo of Rev. Joel Humes on his memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 43471832.
He would have been my 4th Great Grandfather.
His daughter, Elizabeth Humes married Elisha Graddy.
It was really exciting to see a photograph of him.
Thanks again,
Patty Meado

Martha A Wade
Hi Linda, I have been entering memorials at Bethlehem Cemetery and came across Mary A Wade who is the daughter of Eli & Martha A Wade. She is buried next to Martha, who has a stone, but when I found her father Eli at Laurel Hill, he had a stone there for himself and Martha A Wade. I think I should just transfer to you and let you figure it out. Let me know.

John Saltzman - d. 1838
Hi

I have been finding family trees on Rootsweb and Ancestry indicating that his wife may have been a Salome Rugh and that she was a da. of Michael rugh & wife Franzina Merkel of Westmoreland Co., PA. That appears unlikely since ther stated b. date of 1764 would have been when Franzine was about age 47.

However Michael Rugh, son of Michael and Franzina and his wife Phoebe were of an age to have been her parents. I would love to know.

Can you give me any clue as to where the idea may have originated that this may be so?

Thanks

Phil

Elias and Catherine (Coonrod) Saltzman
Hi, I'm a Great Great Great Grandchild of Elias and Catherine Saltzman. I just wanted to let you know that their daughter, Susie J Saltzman-Walker, has a find a grave memorial now. I was wondering if you would like to link her up to her parents? Her find a grave memorial number is: 39206825
Her headstone reads Susie J Walker. Susie was my Great Great Grandmother.

Thanks!

Sue

RE: memorial
My Wallaces are way up there in the early 1700's in South Carolina. John Wallace married Eleanor Morgan and then their daughter Nancy married Thomas Horrall and they ended up in Indiana.

As far as I have the McKinney's ... Phoebe McKinney married James Carter and they ended up in Jackson County, Tennessee.

The King's married into my Hatfield family in Scott County, Tennessee, and a lot of them moved to Oklahoma.

Linda, I did transfer her to you LOL....Poor thing nobody wants her.. Lol ... Any other time as you well know everyone would be fighting over a memorial. One of these days someone will be related to her. Take care.

Irene Gordon Ashbaugh
Hello I will be more than happy to transfer her to you. I did not realize it was a duplicate. With so many different names it does get confusing. Not for sure about the Lillian either so I did change it to Irene since that is what is on the grave. I am not related to her. Thanks

Thank you so much for your reply. I live in California and am so glad that there are volunteers
like you that walk cemeteries and try to preserve some of the headstones by your photos. I appreciate all that you do. I will check back with you. Thanks again.
