I live in Sangamon County IL but also do research in Macoupin County IL and Posey County, IN. I have several photos and records from Old Beech Cemetery in Springfield, IN, and Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wadesville, IN. Family names: Peebles, Saltzman, Wade, McCall, Saalweachter, King, Masters are a few. |
If anyone sees a date that needs to be changed or if I have entered a member of your family that you would like transferred to you, please let me know and I will be glad to do so.
I appreciate being consulted and credited if my pictures are copied for use.

Linda, Thanks again for beautiful tombstone photo on site for my GGGG Grandfather, Stephen Lawley. I appreciate your quick response to my note. As I said before, I am finding alot of memorials where the tombstone photos are dropping off. I will send an email to find a grave. Have a Happy New Year, Richard

You had taken a beautiful photo of the tombstone of Stephen Lawley & posted it on the above site. The photo is no longer on his site. Do you know why photo not on site? His wife's tombstone photo is on her site. Seems strange, like it dropped out of system. Richard. I have found other photos in other areas dropping off sites.
|Barbara Boone||Lois Wade|
Lois Wade (1890-1971), married to Edwin A Causey (1891-1967, buried at Old Beech cemetery in Posey County), is a mystery.
One thing I noticed in her obit at Browning genealogy - http://browning.evpl.org/newsearch/carddetail.asp?id=25777 - is that it lists the place of burial for her as Sunset Memorial Gardens, in Evansville, Vanderburgh, Indiana.
They were divorced so although both were from Posey County (her parents were James W Wade and Rachel Wilson of the Wadesville area), there is nothing to suggest she was buried in Posey County.
She also wasn't remarried; or if she was she kept her first married name - SSI lists her as Lois Causey.
I don't know if she was indeed buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens; as of the date I wrote this, she's not listed but I also noticed that only 40% of their markers have been photographed so that's probably a good guess for now.
Linda I have sent you an e-mail to your e-mail listed above. I am need some information corrected in my records.
Saw more recent messages so know that some progress has been made. Thank you for all you do.

Malaha (Newall) Copenbarger was the wife of Ealis Copenbarger #342659520. She was also the sister of Thursey (Newall) Fletcher #93360111, wife of John G. Fletcher #93360037, the brother of my 3rd great-grandmother, Kiturah (Fletcher) White #50298934. Another of John's siblings was Griffin Taylor Fletcher #44091998. My grandmother, Mrs. Glady Esther White O'Neal researched her White family for 28 years and finally published her research in 1983 in a hardback red book called "White Family and their Kin." Kiturah and John's parents were James & Rhoda Ann Griffin Fletcher.
You are correct Elizabeth Bloodworth married Joseph A.McReynolds born 1807,Joseph McReynolds born 1816 died 1855 married first Elizabeth Compton and later Lovina Holder.

Thank you for the Find A Grave transfer. The information I have is as follows:
Bernice Harms b. May 27, 1919, m. July 5, 1946 Calif. to Howard Peebles
One child: Curtiss Peebles b. May 4, 1955 California
I believe Bernice Harms is the daughter of Otto Harms & Sadie Cogswell.
I have an extensive history of the Johann Heinrich Holtje family if interested.
