I found the family plot that you have a photo request for. I took the photos. I need 2 more memorials made. Maybe you can update yours to I. Seeger and make another one for L. Seeger. I'll work on the photos for you.

You are so welcome! I tried to find as many as I could at the cemetery.

Thank you, Laurie, for the editing, and the linking of the Emma and Louis Oelke memorials to other family members. Best Wishes.

We found Her on St. Peter's in Little Chicago/ Hamburg today while we were putting flowers on my grandparents' grave. Dates fit except on the Stone it says geb. 20 Jun 1820 not 1829. But I think this was her, so I added her.

I've been looking for a grave for Minnie Bird (maiden was Behnke). Minnie could be short for something and Bird could also be spelled Byrd. There may not even be a marker, no one in the family is sure. All they can really tell me is when they went to visit grandpa's grave at Restlawn, they would go "just up the road" and visit the (different) cemetery where grandma was. I don't know why they weren't buried together or if she was buried with her family. I have no further info, other than she was born (est.) 1888 and died between 1922 and 1930. I believe she actually died in 1922-1923, though. If you have run across her in your grave research, I'd be really grateful if you could even just tell me the name of the cemetery. Thank you!

I tried to find a memorial for Howard Rose but didn't find one. The only mention of him is on the bottom of a stone for Robert L and Irene C Kruse. Under her name is says "Mrs Howard Rose." If you would like me to post this picture under his name I will do so. In the mean time, I'll post it under the Kruse name.

Hi, I just fulfilled your photo request for Laura Weinke. Didn't you also have a request for her husband Cyril? When I wrote your request down I had him listed too but now I see he isn't in the photo requests for Restlawn. I looked for a memorial but if there was one I didn't find it. Just wanted to know about that as his name is also on the stone. Have a great day!

Hi Laurie, I asked my uncle and as far as he knows we don't have any relatives in the Marathon area. There is another Burk family in Wausau and they even have a Lori Ann Burk which is my name also. Her father and my father used to get the wrong bills from the doctor. We both went to the same. Later she started going to the same doctor I had when I was an adult and they once got our medical records all messed up. If you want any names to help you find relatives, let me know. Have a great day!

I'll have to check with my uncle Roger to see if one of my grampa's brothers settled around there. I know one brother lived in the Merrill area and another in the Wausau area. Will have to check. If my dad were still around he would be able to tell me right away. He remembered everything, unlike me. lol
