I have been an active member of findagrave a lot longer than this bio reflects. I am no novice. I first joined under a nickname some years ago. Because of health reasons, I had to leave for a while, but I'm back. |
I love taking cemetery pictures. I try to present them as I actually see them in the cemetery. I don't "fix" them. #1 because they should look natural and #2 because I'm probably not talented enough. I do try to clean the markers up (if possible) before I take the picture. If you see a stone for your family member that needs repair, please contact the cemetery and make a request, most will gladly fix it at no charge.
I've been an avid genealogist with over 40 years experience and would love to hear from you.
In the event you are no longer able to care for your memorials, please think of transfering them to someone who has been on FAG for some time so you know they will be well managed. Unfortunately, there are so many memorials on FAG without managers due to many reasons. Maybe a fallen graver, or the creator/manager may no longer have time or has health issues, all memorials need someone available to add information or transfer. It is so frustrating to try and contact a memorial manager and there is no response.
All transfers must be requested through the edit button on the memorial and I follow the Findagrave guidelines. There are few exceptions. Don't jump on Findagrave and try to start collecting your relatives, I will turn you down "flat" until you are an established contributor. Contributor means just that, you must be contributing. I'm sorry, I've had a number of bad experiences.

|Lynn Marie Vint||RE: Miss Jackson # 78301211|
I went through lots and lots and lots of old newspapers, yearbooks, public records, etc. yesterday. I have the bio pretty much finished now if you want to take a look at it some time, but I still want to go over it again with my mom when she's at my house this week. She may know of something else that needs to be added. She knew Miss Jackson better than I did.
I want you to know how much I appreciate your generosity. Have a great weekend!
|Lynn Marie Vint||Miss Jackson|
Thank you so much for your generosity! If you want me to transfer her memorial back, just say the word now or in the future.
I will take good care of her.

Sandy, Thank you so much for trying to find the headstone for Ted. It's always so sad when there is no stone. Thanks Again, Linda Maret

#146343572. His sisters, Karen and Deborah, are bringing Joe's ashes back to Stilwell, OK this Friday the 17th, to be buried by their parents.
I am Joe's first cousin and am hoping that you would transfer his memorial to me. I also have Aunt Billie's and Uncle Ralph's as well as my father - his twin brother and Granny & Grandpa.
My # is 47865672 ACL (Annajo Cantrell Limore)
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you so much for the transfer.
I've always felt like you've helped me with my memorials as you added so much info to mine. Thank you again for everything you do!
|Linda Weatherford||Henry Norman Weatherford|
There is a duplication of Henry Norman Weatherford on Find A Grave. Could you please transfer Henry Norman Weatherford to me as he was my Father-in-law.
Thanks, Linda in KY

Good question. The big headstone shows him buried with his first wife. The smaller stone
is located in the Cremation Garden as I recall. You may have to call the office to clarify.
If he was cremated, ashes may have been buried in both locations. I would bet that his
2nd wife is in the cremation garden. --Jan

There seems to be two memorials for Wilma J. Glover in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma. Just thought you might like to know.

I added a Find A Grave for grandma and then I found yours #148036301 I have added one and there is incorrect information on yours and so you can delete it. Thank you for trying to keep up with all this. I love it that people like you work hard to keep things up to date. It really helps with Genealogy. Wende
