I teach fifth grade in Williamsburg, Virginia. This means that during the school year, I am not able to do much in the way of research. Also, my family is not from this area. So, I rely on Find-A-Grave volunteers to help me out in finding graves for my family members in various states. I always ask permission to use photos, and I urge everyone else to do the same. I am always happy to give permission to use my photos, but I would appreciate being asked, and receiving recognition for them. I am researching the following families: Osborne, Perry, Perkins, Robbins, Nickmann.
RE: Thomas Osborne Hi Janell- I am sorry about that awful picture. I did not realize some of the ones I took that day didn't turn out well til I had gotten back to the states. I am sorry but I do not know this person. I was there looking for relatives and just decided to take pics of everyone in sight. Although we go back fairly often I am afraid I cannot get any information. It is very difficult to get records in Ireland. You pretty much have to jump thru many hoops AND be related to the person of inquiry. Now, with so many people researching their ancestry you will have far better chance of getting something useful from nearby churches. This cemetery is just outside of Galway. Good Luck!
Metairie The two you have listed with locations in Metairie cemetery would actually be in Lake Lawn with those locations. We will try to go to lake lawn and get those for you but if you change the location it will help us remember
RE: Oscar Squires I just now saw your very reasonable request to post the photo of Oscar Squires grave marker. Yes, you may. In addition, if you are related to Oscar Squires, you may assume the maintenance of his memorial. I am not related to Oscar, but only took the photo and created his memorial in hopes his relatives would see it and add more to it from their experiences and records.
