I was just two years old when my father was killed and a lifetime of dreams that he would return wounded, haunted me daily. My mother was just 22 years old and raised my newborn sister and I alone. How lucky I am to have had this very brave young woman for my Mom. I wish that I could know more about my father so if anyone can fill in some blank spaces I would be forever grateful.
My son Gary has worked very hard finding much of the material that we now have and will be traveling to France with his family in the spring of 2010 to visit his grave at Brittany.
