I'm continually researching my family ties, names like Tousignant and Piche, and related ancestrial names located mostly in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Iron Mountain, Iron River, Nadeau and beyond.
I live in Bardstown, Ky., and also research ancestors of my wife's family throughout Nelson County and surrounding areas. Names of Leslie, and variants which include Lasley, Leslee and other phonetic spellings.
A camera, notebook, sketch paper, large pencil, and small brush are usually part of my work kit while I'm trying to decipher the engraving on difficult stones, so transcribing will possibly be as accurate as possible.
