Bio and Links
I found this site June 20, 2009 and am so pleased that I did!

Not only have I been able to find many of my ancestors and list them here, I also enjoy posting info on other families I run across in hopes that they will be helpful to relatives who might be looking for them.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Starting today, Feb 23, 2014, I will no longer be posting the obituary on a memorial listing so please don't ask.

I'm also asking that you not post obituaries and bio information in the virtual flower area on the memorial! This area is to honor the person not to get copyrighted information on the person posted.

Moses & Jesse M. Phillips gravestone photo
May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Moses and Jesse M. Philips (Memorial# 37467213)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Arline Lively
Thank you. I'm fairly new to Find-A-Grave. I think this is a great website. I decided to dig out obituaries I've accumulated over the years, and use them to supplement memorial pages with additional information. My mom graduated from high school with Arline. Thanks for adding my info to her memorial.

Transfer of memorial
I am requesting a transfer of my grandmother's memorial (Marguerite Bachman) to my management. Her memorial number is 44900027 and my membership number is 47716565. Thank you.

I am also requesting the transfer of my grandfather's (Elias Bachman) to my management as well. His memorial number is 38172009.

Both are buried in the Rulo City cemetery.

Thank you on both matters.

Hi Linda. I see that you have created memorials for Jane Ann Belcher McManigal (#119327745) and Daniel McManigal (#119327976) who are my great-great grandparents. Are you related?

Hi Linda,

Thank you for your kindness in transfering the memorials of my cousins to me. I have added what information I have at this present time, but I will add more as I am able to obtain it.

Thank you again for your kindness, for I greatly appreciate it.

RE: Willard and Freddie Shaw
I am sorry to keep bothering you but these Shaw kids have me going.

I remembered that I bought a book Marriage Records, Jefferson County, Nebraska.

I found it and looked for Shaw. There was a James P. Shaw who married Sarah Mussleman. It states his parents were Joshua and Hannah Payne Shaw and that James was 40 born in NJ. They married Dec. 20, 1873.

My James P Shaw's parents were Joshua and Hannah Pogue. His marriage to Sarah Haggard was listed in this book as well. With him age 50 born in NJ parents Joshua and Hannah Pogue Shaw. They married Feb. 4, 1880. His brother Amos was a witness. My James was single in 1870.

Maybe James and Sarah Mussleman Shaw were Willard's parents, but Freddie died before they were married. I suppose James P. could be my James as the name Hannah Payne could have been Pogue. I never knew of him married twice but in genealogy we never know everything.

What do you think?

RE: Willard and Freddie Shaw
I relooked at the burials in the cemetery and there is a J.P. and S. C. Shaw that you linked them too as well.

Isn't is strange that the initials for both parents are the same - but we know J. P. is not James P. and S. C. isn't Sarah C. because their birth and death dates are different.

Now for me to find out who they are and if they are related.

Thanks for your work on this.

RE: Willard and Freddie Shaw
So far it hasn't gone through but am sure it will soon. I was checking to see if you linked anyone else to them and noticed that it hadn't gone through yet.

If you happen to discover who their parents are, please net me know. They could be related to me.
