I have been gathering information on these families: Johnson, Chambers, Murphey(Murphy), Fleming,Privette,Floyd,Ferrell since about 1997. My mother got me started with all of this. Seems she had the knack for being able to rattle off relationships without ever having to have a pencil and paper to keep it all together. I would have to interrupt her just to keep it all straight and even then that was a challenge. She kept saying I wish you would write all this down. So begins my journey into the past.Now that she is gone I keep hitting brick walls and I wish she were here to help me.Thanks to Find A Grave, I have been able to keep some connections going. In some small way, I hope that the contribuitons I make here will help others to knock down a few brick walls.
