Hello, and welcome to my profile. My maiden name is Stroyan, but have started looking for headstones within my family and ancestors. I am looking for Stroyan and Sawvell. The information that I have added, is what I have seen personally. If you discover that I have entered information incorrectly, please let me know. If you have anything that you'd like to add/contribute, please do not hesitate to contact me. Also, if someone that I have added is your relation and not mine, please do not hesitate to ask me to transfer them over to you. I keep all of the photo's that I take, so if you would like the original (please keep in mind that it has been resized for this program, send me an email to my personal email addy and I will be happy to forward it to you.
RE: Herman Schwecke Thank you, Gina, but I'm not related to them either. I just took an interest in them when I found some information on them. But I appreciate the offer. Maybe one day soon a family member will claim them! Thanks again...
RE: Herman Schwecke Wonderful! I was hoping his family would be connected one day. Thanks again. I know it's hard to trudge thru cemeteries, especially big cemeteries, but it means so much to people to find their relatives.
Diedrich Blesse I think you added this stone picture to the wrong grave. He was moved from the Davenport City Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa to the Fairmount Cemetery where he was re interred in 1911. The rest of his family have their stone pictures in Fairmount except for him. Thanks again. MaryLanigan1942@yahoo.com
Loomis Pictures Gina, Thank you very much for getting pictures of the stones for Murray and Rhoda Loomis. Though the stones have only years on them, the memorials on findagrave.com have specific dates. Do you know where they came from? I may need to contact the person who made them.
