I grew up in Basehor, Kansas and now live in Leavenworth. In 2002 I retired from the Department of Justice after 20 years of service and I'm a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
My Dad, Charles E. Nance, was an Army veteran of WWI and WWII, and my Brother, Willard Nance, a veteran of WWII and Korea. I am so thankful and appreciative of our Military and love spending time in our National Cemeteries here in Leavenworth.
Any incorrect submissions were not done intentionally. I am NOT into "numbers", so if anyone would like transfers, please let me know by the "edit" tab and I would be more than happy to do that for you unless it is my "direct" family member or very close friend. If you are asking for a transfer, please give me your member number.
Please give me the memorial number if you are asking me about a memorial.

I am looking into memorials #119232539 & #119232561 George & Eva Sprong. The connection with the child attached to him is what I would like to know about. Could you tell me what information you have to let you know they are connected? I am trying to track done a sister and brother of my Grandfather that were put up for adoption in 1930 and in 1940 on the census I thought I found them in George and Eva's home but I didn't see any other kids. So I am just trying to figure out if I have the correct Sprongs. Any help would be great. Thank you

|Karen Bracey||THANK YOU|
Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of Joseph and Pearl Cleavinger's grave marker. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I was notified that you have filled my request while I was on a cruise, and somehow, when I got back the message kind of slipped through the cracks in my email system until now.

Thank you very much for adding Daniel's gravestone to his memorial. It is very much appreciated.
I saw that you are now a member of the DAR. Congratulations. I have been putting off for the past few years taking the time to apply. I have 3 documented Patriots that only need links from my g-grandmothers. I will apply for all three. One of the area regents works from our library. Also, Sarah, is very interested in becoming a member through my lines and the Nance line. Hope all is going well.

Looks like your note regarding Cecil Little got some action as his memorial was deleted from FLNC. Keep up the good work. Thanks so much, MA

Vanessa Gregg checked the actual gravesite for the Heards and corrected the plot locations on both memorials. She's doing excellent work at FLNC. MA

Thank you so much. That's exactly the kind of help we need in this final push. Another woman (Vanessa Gregg) is staying on top of Section T where all the cremains are being buried now. Thanks for all you do. MA
