Bio
I am a native of Parke County Indiana. After retiring I returned to my boyhood home in western Indiana. My wife and I are living in my great, great grandfather's home which he built in the late 1870's.
In 2008 I formed a non-profit corporation, The Hixon Cemetery Association Ltd, to take over the maintenance of the Hixon Cemetery in Parke County Indiana. Our Association has been repairing, restoring and resetting numerous gravestones at Hixon.
We are also redoing the burial registry and plot map for the cemetery which was started in 1853 by my great, great grandfather, William Hixon.
We hope to place photos and other information about Hixon burials on the "Find a Grave" website.
