|M W Bencal||Knapp's|
Thank you for getting back to me on the Knapp's.
I did manage to stumble on Knapp descendents and have been very busy tracing this group of my ancestors.
Thank you again for getting back to me.
|Mary Jane (Meroney) Taylor||Clifton Johnson Jr & Sr, Ellie|
these 3 are duplicates that are also posted as the last name Johnston which is correct - if you will check the dates on the military stone for Clifton it will confirm these names and dates
|Jo||Ollie O'Day Hazelwood|
Thank you so much for you additions to her, I have found that apparently her husband, and child and her husband's second wife and some of their children are buried at the same cemetery, but I am not positive . If by any chance you are back at that cemetery you might ck the records and plot sections to see if they are indeed beside each other. I believe their is a grave or two children Henry and Olive, which belong to Henry and his second wife.
Thank you again for all you do :)

|Linda Pugh||Kibby death cert|
Hi Daniel, I don't know what to tell you!! The info on the death cert matches in every way except the 1st name, JAMES. George Dean Kibby was the only sibling of my maternal grandmother, Daisy May Kibby Tubman...& he did go by the name of DEAN. I have George Dean's WWI draft registration, which he signed as George Dean Kibby....& the 1920 census list him as Dean G. (Geo..rather than J for James). The informant on this death cert was listed as John Tubman...my maternal grandfather. The only thing I can think of is that they were very upset at Dean's passing & just said the wrong name or the registar wrote the wrong 1st name??? I know this isn't the first discrepancy in these old documents nor will it be the last!!! I should tell you that I was adopted as a newborn & only found my birthfamily some dozen years ago. My birthmom lived in Plainview & passed away only this past Dec. I was so blessed get to know her this past 12 yrs...as well as 2 "new" brothers.
I'd like to thank you for this contribution as well as many others you have shared.
Yours, L.Darlene Pugh in Texas

|Wayne Smith||Mary Truss, Red Hill|
Thank you for the maiden name; if you don't mind checking to see if her death certificate shows her parents I would appreciate it and might be able to link her. There are Brazeels there, some of whom I knew personally but didn't know Mary.
|Shirley Hughes||Wooley Family|
Thanks for all the hard work you put into this. Since leaving Texas years ago, I had no idea which of my cousins were still living. Or even my Aunts and Uncles... Although it was very sad seeing this info in print. I am grateful to be able to read about my family.
Thank you. Shirley Wooley Hughes
