I have been working on my personal family tree for over 5 years, and there is still much information that is 'lost' in history. I have had the pleasure of meeting new cousins, learning more about where my family 'came' from, but yet there is so much more information that I have not been able to uncover. My hope is to do as much work as I can, so that any future generation does not have to hunt and search as long and as hard as I have had to!
Every single family member deserves to have their life honored. This research is not as much as finding out about a persons "death", but more in finding out more about their "life". Everyone counts and has an important function in their family, and in that respect deserves to be remembered.
***PLEASE.. if you see a memorial added by me and it is of your family member, contact me with your id# and I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you!! ***

I am sorry that it has taken me so long to respond. The photo of Barzilla Wirt is from a charcoal that belonged to my grandmother (his granddaughter), Marie Riley Barger.
For many years, I was not able to uncover any information about his family. My cousin's son has done extensive research and has discovered that his parents were Christian Wirt and Elisabeth Matter. The name was originally "Wirth". The family originated in Germany and were in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania when they first came to this country.
Again, sorry that my response was so late. Please feel free to contact me again.
