Sorry, I'm not aware of any familiar relationship with Mary Jane Denton.

|John Thomas Bolla||Children of Green Berry Parsons|
You say that Green Berry Parsons and Margaret L. Herring had 7 children. I believe this is correct. However, You listed the 7 as Caldonia, Geneva Jane, Epsy, David Miles, Elisha Edward, Elizabeth and Lafayette. Caldonia's full name was Elizabeth Caldonia Parsons Kennedy. I can find no other mention of an additional Elizabeth. On the 1900 census, there are 7 children listed but the 7th is Oliver "Ollie" Parsons who was born in about 1897. I think the seventh child was Oliver and not Elizabeth.

I am not a direct descendant. They would be very remote relations, but I am a researcher and this is what I have found.
I have wanted to help initiate a clean up for this cemetery for a long time. I first saw this cemetery in 1985. I was able to find a group of people who go around restoring and cleaning up abandoned cemeteries. They are going to begin clean-up tomorrow 9/30/2015. A group of us (including some members of Hepzibah baptist and possibly a local Boy Scout group) will be meeting on Saturday 10/3. If anyone would like to join in feel free to send me an email. firstname.lastname@example.org

|Wonderkin||Old Hepzibah Gravestones|
I have a transcription of the cemetery from 2000 done by one Georgia Garrett. Your grandparents are not listed that I saw but in 200 when this was done many of the stones had already been destroyed but time and vandals. I would love to be able to clean up and restore this cemetery, including replacing the gravestones.
|Wonderkin||Gravestones for Miles J. and Rachel C. Parsons|
Thank you for posting these gravestones. Miles and Rachel are my great-great-great grandparents. About 2006 Old Hepzibah Cemetery was hit by a tornado. Most of the Parsons and Kennedy family stones were destroyed and scattered over the farmers field that adjoins the cemetery. The farmer used a tractor to pick up the stones and just piled them in the middle of the cemetery destroying most of the remaining stones. The last time I was there, the only Parsons/Kennedy stone still standing was the one belonging to Rachel. Even though only a few feet separated her stone from the stones of her husband and children, hers is the only monument left. The photos I took are not nearly as clear as yours, so thank you again for posting these beautiful stones.

Dear Friend, Our 16 year old princess lost her battle with leukemia and went home to God. Won't you please stop by her F.A.G. memorial? Thank you.
Hello and I hope you are doing well. I didn't take this photo but copied it from another location and posted it to this one. These are my paternal great grandparents. (Their daughter Rosa was my father's mother.) I see that you created the memorial. How are you related?
