I was born on February 2, 1952, the son of Clara Mae VanPelt Fagg Clark, and Russell Eugene Fagg, in Springfield, Illinois. My sister is Pamela Maloy, and my brother is Dale. My maternal grandparents are John and Nona VanPelt of Mechanicsburg, Illinois, and my paternal grandparents are Loren and Wilma Fagg of Springfield, Illinois. I married Karen Polk in Springfield on July 22, 1972. We are the parents of two children, daughter Kari and our son Larry. Our dachshunds Snoopy and Fritz are our four legged children. I retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2010, and I enjoy spending time with my family and learning of our ancestry.
