I've been researching for a few years now and am learning a great deal about my ancestors and genealogy in general.
So far, I've found ancestors in AL, AR, DE, GA, KY, LA, MD, MA, MS, MO, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA as well as the European countries England, France, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland and Wales.
A few of the surnames I'm researching are: Baker, Dorsey, McGinnis, Prater, Gulledge, Shipman, Hammons, Martin, Perry, Lane, Ellis, Bruner, McDonnell, Cooper and Reeves.
